Recovering Mathematics

This page and its daughter pages are for exploration and posts of how to reform both the pedagogy and content of the contemporary mathematics curriculum along the lines of the the Western Christian tradition.  Many pedagogical clues are taken from the work of Morris Kline whose critique is similar to that of Paul Lockhart's.  Many theological directions have been influenced by meditations on the thought of Maximus the Confessor.
